Mabel
Meet Mabel — the inspiration behind Mabel’s Natural Pet Supplies.
Mabel is our cheeky, lovable collie-spaniel mix and the reason this whole journey began. She’s a 8-year-old rescue from Romania who, after a tough start in life, now spends her days exploring the Lancashire countryside and living her best life.
She’s full of character and always up to something — usually involving her big brother Nico, who patiently puts up with her favourite game: sprinting full pelt into him and trying to nibble his ankles. It’s all in good fun (at least for Mabel).
Her treat of choice? Our famously stinky pig ears — the smellier, the better!
Mabel reminds us every day why natural, nutritious, and delicious treats matter. She’s not just our mascot — she’s family.
Nico
Meet Nico — the gentle giant of the family.
Nico is our incredibly fluffy Alaskan Malamute, and at 9 years old, he’s mastered the art of looking majestic… while being a total goofball.
Rescued just like his sister Mabel, Nico now spends his days enjoying the good life in Lancashire — especially when that involves paddling in the sea (his happy place). He’s also got a bit of a dramatic streak and isn’t shy about letting us know when it’s dinner time — usually by throwing his head back and howling in our faces like a true diva.
When it comes to treats, Nico is not exactly picky — he loves everything. But a few favourites do stand out: rabbit ears, fish chunks, and antlers always get his tail wagging. His all-time top pick? Hairy cow ears. Big, smelly, and delicious — just the way he likes them.
Nico keeps us laughing, keeps us active, and reminds us every day why we do what we do.
Joe
Meet Joe — the owner and the one who keeps everything running.
Joe’s the person behind Mabel’s Natural Pet Supplies, handling everything from sourcing and packing to making sure your orders get out the door on time. He started the business out of a love for dogs and a belief that natural treats should be simple, healthy, and easy to trust.
When he’s not working, you’ll usually find him out walking with Mabel and Nico — especially in the Lake District, one of their favourite spots.
His go-to product? Sprats. They’re packed with omega-3s and great for dogs’ skin, joints, and overall health — plus, Mabel and Nico are big fans.
Kay
Meet Kay — head of sales at Mabel’s Natural Pet Supplies.
Kay looks after everything sales-related, from building partnerships to helping more people discover the benefits of our natural treats. She’s passionate about growing the brand and making sure our products reach as many happy dogs as possible.
When she’s not working, you’ll usually find her curled up on the sofa with Mabel — the perfect way to unwind.
Her favourite product? Buffalo horns. They’re tough, long-lasting, and ideal for keeping dogs busy and content.
Katie
Meet Katie — our social media manager.
Katie is the creative mind behind our social media, making sure Mabel’s Natural Pet Supplies stays connected, fun, and full of personality online. From sharing behind-the-scenes moments to showcasing our best products, she brings our story to life across every platform.
When she’s not working, Katie’s favourite place is the sofa — snuggled up with her spaniel Lily, dachshund Hazel, a hot brew, and something good on Netflix.
Her top treat? Ostrich bones. Packed with unique health benefits and impressively long-lasting, they’re a hit with even the most determined chewers.
